Company History SHADOWORKS® ENTERTAINMENT, located in Tucson, Arizona has been independently producing motion pictures, content for the internet, home entertainment and television since 1992. Currently SHADOWORKS® has nearly a dozen projects in various stages of development. From feature film projects to experimental shorts, interactive web-based content, to comic books and T-shirts. SHADOWORKS® ENTERTAINMENT is currently in pre-production and preliminary casting on the feature film “HIGHWAY 6” and in development on the feature film "H.P. Lovecraft's THE LAST MILE" and several others. SHADOWORKS® is also currently in production on the short film “SURVIVE” and in pre-production on the short film “SCARLETT FEVER” as well as several upcoming “competition” short films. SHADOWORKS® ENTERTAINMENT recently produced the 48 hour competition short film "PUMPKIN" which was selected as a TOP 20 FINALIST in the "ALMOST FAMOUS FILM FESTIVAL: 48 IN 2008" (www.theA3F.net) and received a theatrical screening at the AMC Arizona Center 24 in downtown Phoenix on February 28, 2008. "PUMPKIN" screened to spectacular audience reaction and took home awards in 3 categories including; Best Drama (3rd Place) Outstanding Cinematography (2nd Place) and Best Visual Effects (1st. Place). SHADOWORKS ENTERTAINMENT stands poised to form the vital partnerships with major studios in order to cross over from regional independent film and television productions to mainstream motion picture and digital media production and development. A native of Tucson, Arizona SHADOWORKS® ENTERTAINMENT founder and Director of Project Development WADE STAI is a multiple award winning Screenwriter, Director, Producer, Director of Photography and AVID® Editor. A life long fan of Horror, Science Fiction films, Fiction and Comics he has worked to infuse a variety of themes and storytelling styles into his projects. Primarily working in Television production as a marketing and Commercial Producer since 2003, Wade was honored for his work when he was the recipient of a 2007 EMMY® AWARD in the category "ARTS & ENTERTAINMENT PROGRAM FEATURE / SEGMENT", awarded by the Rocky Mountain Southwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) at a banquet on Sunday, October 6, 2007 at the Glendale Media Center in Glendale, Arizona. Wade was nominated for a second EMMY® for his documentary videography work.
In 2006 Wade was was the winner of a TELLY® AWARD for “Achievement in Editing” for the 60 minute original reality show special “The Desert Race: Tucson”and was honored again in 2008 when he received three (3) more TELLY® AWARDS for his work as the Director of Photography on the 30 minute documentaries "TREASURE THE DESERT: The Arizona Sonoran Desert Museum" and "JEWEL IN THE DESERT: Colossal Cave Mountain Park". Wade also was the recipient of 7 ADDY® AWARDS for excellence in regional Television marketing and commercial production both for his work as Director of Photography and Editing. FUN FACT: Wade's last name "STAI" is actually pronounced "STAY"

Cynthia is a graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Arts. She was a resident of Hawaii for 15 years where she owned and operated “Wide-Eyed Theatre”, an after school theatre program. In addition, she co-owned Rainforest Productions and worked as a DJ for “K-Hawaii’s Rock N’ Roll”. As a member of the Hilo Community Players, Cynthia earned 4 Tiki Awards for Best Actress in A Streetcar Named Desire as Blanche, Macbeth as Lady Macbeth, Crimes of the Heart as Meg and Beyond Therapy as Prudence. In Tucson, she received MAC nominations for Relatively Speaking as Sheila and No Exit as Inez and won recognition as best actress for her role in Live Theatre Workshops The Glass Menagerie as Amanda.
Cynthia has directed several productions including Barefoot in the Park for LTW and Lysistrata for HCP. Her film credits include The Lost River, The Greening of Eritrea, Spin and Ghostown. She currently works for KOLD News 13 as a National Sales Assistant and has voiced over 300 commercials for local businesses in Tucson.
